Color Theory is the backbone of a painting. When you move from drawing to painting, you increase your variables. You are now not only having to work with value but with hue, saturation and temperature. Understanding how color works helps make sense of it all. In this class we will discuss the color wheel and how to use it. We will discuss color and its relation to all its properties. the effects of simultaneous contrast, atmospheric perspective, as well as color harmony and its relationship to color schemes, etc. And we will produce numerous color charts to guide you along. Join me on 7 Tuesday nights from 4-7pm beginning on January 7th and ending on February 18th
