This is a class that not only addresses the painting process through individual work from still life, photos or imagination, but looks at the concept of painting and art through the work of well known artists. We will tackle such topics as abstract painting vs representational painting and what is different about how this art is created. We will discuss why we paint at all and what are the pitfalls to creating visual art. Join me for a look at the raw aspects of making art.
