“Food for life” This painting was from Martha’s Vineyard. There is an old Fishing village that took me back in time. It was early morning, the beginning of the day. The figure was added later to help enhance the feeling of the painting. I wanted him to feel like his life was hard but well spent. The pier supports him figuratively and literally and fishing is the food for his life.
